| New Charter School Operator Workshop – Friday May 31, 2013 |
| The Oregon Department of Education will be hosting this event to support new charter schools planning to open this fall, charter school administrators new to their role, new charter school board members, and school district charter school liaisons. Topics will include special education, English language learners, state school funding, federal highly qualified to teach requirements, teacher qualifications, and more. The content is tailored to the needs of those new in their position or for a newly approved charter school. If you are interested in attending, please register here.
This meeting is not intended for charter schools in the planning stage. Content has been designed for those schools with an approved proposal, signed charter agreement, or established charter school. The Department is working to develop additional resources for developing charter schools. If you are a charter school developer, please access our past presentations and recordings here.
