Oregon Department of Education Releases Annual Statewide Report Card

SALEM – State Schools Superintendent Susan Castillo announced today the release of the 2008-09 Oregon Statewide Report Card. This annual publication serves as a compendium of information and trends on Oregon’s K-12 public education system.

“The annual statewide Report Card is a powerful resource for understanding public education in Oregon,” said Superintendent Castillo. “Whether looking for an introductory snapshot, or delving deeper into our school system, parents, policymakers and the general public alike will find the Report Card full of accurate, useful information on K-12 public education, its funding and our students’ academic success.”

Information in this report card includes:

• Student Enrollment
• Special Programs
• School Funding
• Staff Data
