OAKS Online/TESA Nears 1,000,000 Mark!
Somewhere an Oregon student will complete test number 1,000,000 on OAKS Online/TESA probably before May 1, 2008. With 20 days of testing remaining, projections are that the 2007-08 tests may number 1.4 million.

Teachers, principals and District Test Coordinators may want to check the on-line reporting feature to find information about the percent of students tested so far. However, it is important to remember official assessment data is located on ODE’s District Website. Final participation rates for AYP and Report Card are based on the Spring Membership data collection and will likely differ from OAKS Online’s real-time reports. Nevertheless, information on the OAKS/Online TESA site may help in identifying students who need to test or re-test.

Teachers and administrators will have an opportunity in mid- to late- May to provide feedback to ODE about OAKS/Online TESA.
