The Juvenile Justice Committee of the Youth Development Council will meet on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the Public Service Building, Room 200-A.

The purpose of the committee meeting is to discuss and assess potential impacts of the newly-released draft policy developed by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) regarding the four core requirements of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act (Act). The policy proposed significant changes to compliance monitoring requirements, including data collection, verification, reporting and non-compliance findings. The OJJDP will be accepting feedback and comments from state designated agencies and advisory groups by September 21, 2015.
