Video Conferencing for Students
Video Conferencing for Students
From time to time there are opportunities for students to participate in special events via the Oregon Access Network. We will list those opportunities on this page as we are aware of them. Also, you can create your own videoconference events:
Ask your teacher to arrange a project partnership with another classroom in a different part of the state, or even another part of the country
Bring content experts to your school using the videoconference technology
Guests speakers from the business and government are often willing to videoconference with classrooms
A portion of job shadowing can often be accomplished via videoconference
These are just a few examples of how you can utilize videoconferencing to augment learning activities in your own school.
Douglas ESD Video Conferencing Page
Teachers around Douglas County share classes via videoconferencing and collaborate with the local community college. They may be willing to share these resources outside of the boundaries of Douglas County.
Frontier Learning Network
