NASDSE Professional Development Series


News Announcements
The NASDSE (National Association of State Directors of Special Education) Professional Development Series has been improved to add versatility to the way staff access and utilize these conferences to meet professional development needs. Due to changes in available technology, we have discontinued the satellite downlink portion of the series.

We will continue to disseminate the login code via listserv to special education directors. This information must remain confidential and should not be posted on public websites. Please directly contact your special education director for the login code. This login will provide access to the online conference viewing page where all related PowerPoint presentations and resources will be available for download by individual viewers.

The Department will continue to mail DVD copies of the sessions for local distribution to school staff. This approach allows districts to determine what method of dissemination suits staff needs: a rebroadcast of the series, curriculum copies of the videos, or a video lending library.

Additionally, the series will feature a new, fully accessible, state-of-the-art web delivery system that includes a searchable knowledge base of information, conference chapters for easy navigation, and accurate transcription of all conference content.
