ODE Child Nutrition Programs celebrated National Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Week and with a poster contest for program participants. National CACFP Week was March 13-19, 2016. ODE CNP challenged the participants of the CACFP to create a poster on Healthy Meals: Adventures in Eating. We received many great submissions and after an ODE-wide voting process, we have chosen two wonderful winners. The winners are Zack Anderson, age 5, from Southern Oregon Head Start, Rogue River Head Start and Connor Hofmann, age 10, from Salem-Keizer School District, Wright Elementary. Both winners and their sponsors received nutrition education sets courtesy of the Oregon Dairy and Nutrition Council and are being showcased here on the ODE CNP CACFP page. Congratulations again to both winners!
