This site contains information that District Test Coordinators will find useful in understanding their role in facilitating valid and reliable state assessments.

    District Test Coordinators and other school and district staff are invited to attend monthly WebEx sessions hosted by the Office of Assessment and Accountability. During these sessions, ODE will provide updates on current issues and respond to questions.

    To send a topic suggestion for discussion before the sessions, send that information to Kathy.brazeau@state.or.us eMail.

    Other than the first session (above), all sessions will be held on Wednesdays from 9:00 - 10:00 am.

    This guide provides support for districts as they determine when to test students using OAKS and whether to consider administering an assessment more than once.

    Under OAR 581-022-0610, school districts may delegate responsibility for test administration duties to another school district or education service district for students attending a specific school or program.

  • 2012-13 Braille Writing Order Form PDF  10/22/2012 (297.62 KB)
    Districts must submit this form to ODE to order Braille Writing tests for eligible grade 11 and 12 students. Districts must also be sure to order a non-Braille Writing test booklet for the student in the district order placed in TIDE. The district will use the non-Braille booklet to transcribe the student’s response for scoring purposes.
