Portland State University Pilot Process Evaluation Report, published June 2013
The Ford Family Foundation funded a process evaluation conducted by Portland State University (PSU) during the Fall 2012 pilot. Sixteen schools across Oregon were nominated and selected to participate in training and administer the selected Kindergarten Assessment tools with incoming kindergarteners. Writing
During the 2011 session the Oregon legislature voted to suspend the Writing Performance Assessment at grades 4 and 7. Only students currently enrolled in grade 11 who have not yet met or exceeded the writing standard may take the Writing Assessment during the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 school years.
