Every year, the Oregon Department of Education hosts ESEA Odyssey Conferences for district and school staff. Start the school year with updates and guidance on federal ESEA Title Program implementation. This year, we will be holding two conferences:
August 4-6, 2014, at the Portland Airport Sheraton, Portland, Oregon
August 12-14, 2014, at Eastern Oregon University, La Grande, Oregon
The first day of each conference will include two half-day sessions:
The first half-day session is for New Title I Coordinators.
The second half-day session is an Education Effectiveness training session.
The remaining two days will include information and breakout sessions on ESEA programs.

CIP Budget Narrative/Spending Workbook
The CIP Budget Narrative/Spending Workbook meets some of the requirements for the release of Federal funds. It describes how Federal funds will supplement District funds and programs and captures how ESEA and Perkins funds will be spent to support the attainment of the Districts’ improvement goals.
District/ESD Professional Learning Teams (PLT)
District/ESD PLTs are collaborative teams of teachers and building/district administrators who support district-wide implementation of the Oregon Framework (SB290/ESEA waiver) and the Common Core State Standards in a manner specific to each district/ESD’s needs.
There are links on this page to the various components of state policy infrastructure focused on educator effectiveness leading to improved student learning.
