Overview

The School District Collaboration Grant Program was established by the 2011 State Legislature to provide funding for school districts to improve student achievement through the voluntary collaboration of teachers and administrators to implement new approaches to:

    a. Career pathways for teachers and administrators;
    b. Evaluation processes for teachers and administrators;
    c. Compensation models for teachers and administrators; and
    d. Enhanced professional development opportunities for teachers and administrators.


School District Collaboration Design and Implementation Grant RFPs Released



School District Collaboration Design and Implementation Grant Request for Proposals (RFPs) for the 2015-16 school year are now being accepted. Click the following links to access the RFPs, information on important dates, application materials, grant requirements and the official scoring guide.
  • Senate Bill 216 PDF
  • Design Grant UPDATED MS-Word
    This is the initial grant in the District Collaboration Grant process to support districts in developing Blueprints for the four required areas as outlined in the RFP and Senate Bill 216. The School District Collaboration Design Grant deadline has been extended.The date for submission of the Design grant is now August 19, 2015. School Districts interested in applying for a Design Grant are asked to submit a Letter of Intent by July 29, 2015.
  • Implementation Grant Year 1
    For districts to implement the four design components outlined in the RFP and Senate Bill 216.
  • Implementation Grant Year 2 & 3
    This phase is available only to districts who have completed Year 1 or Year 2 of the implementation process.




The School District Collaboration Design Grant deadline has been extended.


The date for submission of the Design grant is now August 19, 2015. School Districts interested in applying for a Design Grant should to submit a Letter of Intent by July 29, 2015.

Interested parties for both the Design and Implementation Grants should participate in upcoming Technical Assistance Webinars that will provide addition insight to the process. This will also provide a venue to ask clarifying questions. It is important for districts to attend these webinars to understand the revised requirements for 2015-2017.
