Early Childhood Instructional Support Toolkit
The Early Childhood Instructional Support Toolkit is a guide to free on-line resources that can be used for professional development in early childhood programs. The resources focus on intentional adult-child interactions related to concept development, quality feedback, and language modeling.
Resources in the toolkit can also be used to address specific child outcomes in Language & Literacy and Math & Science. Child outcomes identified in the toolkit’s resource guides are drawn from the Common Core State Standards for Kindergarten and the Head Start Child Development and Early Learning Framework, which has been adopted by Oregon as the state’s early childhood standards for children three to five.
