Grant Program
To further support the STEM Education Initiative, The Oregon Department of Education (ODE) released a
Request for Proposal
(RFP) for the Title IIB Mathematics and Science Partnerships (MSP) Grant Program for the 2012-14 funding cycle. Applicants submitted proposals for either of two options detailed in the RFP focusing on development and/or implementation of regional STEM education partnerships.
A technical assistance WebEx was hosted by ODE on April 18, 2012.

Work of the Title IIB STEM Education partnerships will occur between June 2012 and September 2014 starting with a meeting in July 2012 to establish initial common measures that will be use across the partnerships. Regional partners identified will help further refine the Oregon STEM Initiative through implementation in the field.
Title IVB - 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC)

The 21st CCLC program is designed to provide opportunities for academic enrichment, including tutorial services to help students -- particularly those who attend low-performing schools -- to meet state and local student academic achievement standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and mathematics.
