TO: Sponsors of the CACFP At-Risk Meals and Snacks Program

RE: 2011 List of Oregon School Areas Eligible for Afterschool At-Risk Meals and Snacks

The updated list of School Areas Eligible for Afterschool Meals and Snacks in the Child and Adult Care Food Program At-Risk Meals and Snacks Program, effective March 1, 2011, is posted on the Oregon Department of Education Child Nutrition Programs website at: http://www.ode.state.or.us/search/page/?id=1154

After school sites located within the boundary areas of schools on this list are qualified for participation on the Afterschool At-Risk Meals and Snacks Program.

If your institution is currently operating after school enrichment programs that are not on the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), and you would like to add new sites that may now qualify based on the new data, please contact your assigned Nutrition Specialist.

DO NOT submit new site verification for the sites that you are currently claiming.

We appreciate your partnership in assuring Oregon’s school age children are well nourished and are in positive after school enrichment programs.
