The Strategies for Student Success Institute provided over 800 Oregon educators with a unique opportunity to work together to identify workable strategies for student success. School teams (85), district teams (24), ESD and other teams (7) attended the 2006 Summer Institute. Participants learned from the experts about a variety of topics that are central to adolescent literacy, student success, and school improvement. During the Institute, teams worked on developing literacy plans for 2006-07.

Nationally-recognized experts provided daily keynotes and topical breakout sessions. You can now access these speakers via videostreaming technology here on this Oregon Department of Education web page. (See above.)
