TO: Sponsors of the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs
RE: Procedure for Submitting Site Claims for May, June, and July
Sponsors of the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs are required to
submit site claims in CNPweb for reimbursement.
CNPweb does not allow sponsors to submit site claims prior to the 1st day of the
following month covered by the claim.0
The procedure for submitting site claims for May, June, and July are:
- Sponsors that serve meals less than 10 days in June may combine May and
June site claims.
- Sponsors that serve meals more than 10 days in June may submit a June site
claim but may not combine June and July site claims. USDA issues new
reimbursement rates July 1 each year and site claims may not be combined
using different rates.
