Oregon Teacher of the Year program is sponsored by Intel Corporation, the state's largest private employer and a consistent supporter of education programs, particularly in math and science.

Donna DuBois, a fourth grade teacher at Camas Ridge Community School, is the 2009-2010 Oregon Teacher of the Year.

“Environment is much more than how the classroom looks. It is community. It is how students interact with each other, the teachers, and the curriculum. It’s the feeling you get when you walk into the room. Our classroom environment is the foundation where enthusiasm for learning is crafted,” says DuBois.
