The Oregon Department of Education has projects focused on building statewide and district-level capacity to adopt, implement, and sustain evidence-based practices in behavior/or academics.

Because of the success of these projects, ODE was selected through an application process to participate in a federal technical assistance project to Scale-Up selected evidence-based practices.

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports
Focuses on building capacity to implement multi-tiered behavioral interventions for all students.
Oregon's Response to Intervention Initiative (Or-RTI)
Focuses on building capacity to implement multi-tiered academic support for all students, and provide guidance to districts to support implementation of IDEA policy for RTI.
Effective Behavioral and Instructional Support Systems
This project goes one step further to help districts establish a blended model of multi-tiered behavioral and academic support.
Scaling-Up
The purpose of Scaling Up is to promote student academic achievement and behavioral health by supporting implementation and scaling-up of evidence-based practices in education settings.

Oregon Regional Autism Model Training Sites (ORPATS)
STAR Autism Support, Inc. and Northwest Regional ESD in collaboration with the Oregon Department of Education is continuing development of a statewide network of Oregon Regional Autism Training Sites (ORPATS).
