Title I-D - Overview

NCLB

Overview Title I-D is part of the ESEA 2001 reauthorization. Title I-D has two subparts. Subpart 1 provides allocations for State Agency programs designed to serve the needs of students residing in state funded facilities for neglected or delinquent children and youth. Subpart 2 provides allocations to districts having local facilities for neglected or delinquent children or youth within district boundaries.

School districts and states have access to up-to-date information through the The National Evaluation and Technical Assistance Center for the Education of Chidren and Youth Who are Neglected, Delinquent, or At-Risk. The following links provide additional information and tools that can assist district in implementing quality programs for these students.
