Champion Schools
For eight years, schools from around the state were recognized for their outstanding work in closing the achievement gap. The seven 2009 Celebrating Student Success Champion schools are listed below along with their stories and award applications.
Each Champion school received a $3000 grant award provided by a business sponsor and was honored at the Celebrating Student Success Banquet on May 1st, 2009.

Continuing Success
These schools are past celebrating student success winners who are continuing to show great gains in closing the achievement gap. Each Continuing Success School received a trophy and was honored at the Celebrating Student Success banquet on May 1st, and each received a $1,000 award in appreciation for continued dedication and success.
