This center at the University of Washington serves to increase the access of individuals with disabilities to information technology in educational institutions at all academic levels nationwide.

National Center for the Dissemination of Disability Research  External Link
This center funds 300 projects annually that include a wide range of research topics including but not limited to 1) employment outcomes; 2) health and function; 3) technology for access and function; 4) associated disability research and more!

National Center on Physical Activity and Disability  External Link
This website is operated by the Department of Disability and Human Development at the Univ. of Illinois at Chicago and is dedicated to the belief that exercise is for everybody and that having a disability does not mean that you cannot be healthy.

National Center on Secondary Education and Transition  External Link
The National Center on Secondary Education and Transition seeks to increase the capacity of national, state and local agencies and organizations to improve secondary education and transition results for youth with disabilities and their families. NCSET has two newsletters that are also of great assistance. The Information Brief addresses trends and developments in secondary education and transition. The Parent Brief promotes effective parent involvement in secondary education and transition. Both newsletters are available at: http://ici.umn.edu/ncset/publications/default.html.

National Collaborative on Workforce and Disability for Youth  External Link
The National Collaborative on Workforce and Disability for Youth is one of two technical assistance centers funded by the Department of Labor to assist the workforce development community in addressing issues affecting the employment of people with disabilities.

National Employer Leadership Council  External Link

This resource center at Syracuse University is designed to promote the full inclusion of people with developmental disabilities in community life.

National Spinal Cord Injury Statistical Center  External Link
This center supervises and directs the collection, management and analysis of the world's largest spinal cord injury database.

Pacer Center Projects Related to Transition  External Link
The Parent Advocacy Coalition for Educational Rights (PACER Center) works in coalition with 18 disability organizations and provides links to a number of their projects focusing on transition.

Post-ITT  External Link
The Post-ITT Web Site is a collection of resources and activities established to aid students, parents, educators and DSS coordinators in the task of planning for a student's transition from secondary to postsecondary education.

The Rehabilitation Research and Training Center  External Link
This Center hopes to move beyond what has and has not worked in the past, towards a new system of educational supports for people with disabilities.

This center has a consumer driven database containing independent living research reviews.

School to Work Intermediary Project  External Link
The Boston, Massachusetts project is a national effort to strengthen and support the efforts of local school-to-career intermediary organizations. In addition to information on working with key partners in a community, the site contains several issue briefs on intermediary activity. On the site is a recently published brief, "School-to-Work Opportunities for all Youth-Intermediary Organizations and Expanding Options."
