Champion Schools
For eight years, schools from around the state were recognized for their outstanding work in closing the achievement gap. The six 2008 Celebrating Student Success Champion schools are listed below along with their stories, award applications, and short vidoes about each school.
Each recipient school received a $3000 grant award and was honored at the Celebrating Student Success Banquet on May 9th, 2008.
Celebrating Student Success
Chambers Productions produced short videos about the Celebrating Student Success Champion Schools. All of these schools demonstrate a commitment to key themes. In addition to the six school specific videos, three thematic videos were created around the areas of Achieving, Connecting, and Leading.

Continuing Success Schools
These schools are past celebrating student success winners and who are continuing to show great gains in closing the achievement gap. Each Continuing Success School received a trophy and was honored at the Celebrating Student Success banquet on May 9th, and each received a $1000 award in appreciation for continued dedication and success.
