Student Competencies and Comprehensive Guidance and Counseling Programs in Oregon
Comprehensive guidance and counseling programs are designed to facilitate student development and competencies in four domains: academic (learning to learn), career (learning to work), personal/social (learning to live), and community involvement (learning to contribute). School districts in Oregon may select or create the standards or indicators for their students and comprehensive guidance and counseling program. The following resources are provided as guides to assist school districts in identifying the specific competencies they want their students to acquire.
