Requires districts to use a K-12 evidence based education program to prevent the use of steroids and perfromance-enhancing substances and requires coaches to receive training once every four years on steroids and perfromance-enhancing substances.

Child Abuse Prevention Training for School Employees, Parents, and Students
During the 2007 legislative session, Oregon legislators passed Senate Bill 379, "Child Abuse Training for School Employees, Parents and Students." The law requires all school district and education service district employees to annually participate in child abuse prevention training.

Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying

Requires each district to update their adopted policy and procedures prohibiting harassment, intimidation or bullying.
OAR 581-021-0110 Tobacco Free Schools

Requires districts to have policies and procedures for implementation and enforcement of tobacco free school property, at any school sponsored event, on or off campus.
