Physical Education - Assessment
Physical Education - Assessment
In Oregon, districts are responsible for designing and implementing performance requirements in physical education. Performance requirements are a description of what a student needs to do (e.g., the type of activity, task, assessment, classroom work samples), and how well the student needs to perform on the required task (e.g., against which standards the student is to be measured, a score on an assessment that meets the “textual description” of the requirement).
Sample Scoring Guides
A scoring guide is an assessment tool used to judge the quality of student performance in relation to content standards. As an assessment tool, scoring guides provide specific criteria to describe a range of possible student responses and a consistent set of guidelines to rate student work.
