Oregon Department of Education (ODE)
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Information to help children with autism benefit from the specialized support provided through regional services in cooperation with local school districts, families and community agencies.
Early Childhood Education Programs
Oregon Head Start is jointly funded by the federal Head Start Bureau and the ODE. OR Head Start Prekindergarten (OHSP) is available in all 36 counties in Oregon and serves low-income children 3-5 years old and their families. Early Head Start serves families with pregnant mothers and children birth-3.
Teaching Research EI/ECSE Authorization Project
This project, funded by the ODE, is the development and implementation of activities related to the initial Authorization and Reauthorization requirements established by the ODE.

Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC)
OCDC is a private not-for-profit corporation governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Prompted by the tragic death of a three-year-old migrant child in a farm accident, OCDC was founded in 1971 and has evolved into the largest child development and child care network in the state of Oregon, providing Head Start, literacy and family support services.
Oregon Commission on Children and Families (OCCF)
OCCF is a partnership of citizens and professionals working together to improve the lives of and families in Oregon's local communities. OCCF facilitates and supports local coordinated comprehensive planning for all children and families, promotes system integration, and provides leadership for local and state efforts focused on early childhood.
Oregon Council on Developmental Disabilities (OCDD)
The mission of the OCDD is to join with Oregonians with developmental disabilities and their families to promote change through self-determination leading to a more accessible, inclusive and culturally responsive world.
Oregon Division for Early Childhood (DEC)
The DEC of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) is a non profit organization advocating for individuals who work with or on behalf of children with special needs, birth through age eight, and their families.
Oregon Medical Home Project
Oregon's Medical Home Project supports primary health care offices by working "behind the scenes" and building partnerships with parents as the constant in children's lives and the ones who know what is best for their child.
FACT
Family and Community Together (FACT) is a family leadership organization supporting individuals and their families experiencing disability.
Oregon Health Sciences University
Care Coordination
CaCoon is a statewide program that uses county public health nurses to work with families who have children with special health needs to identify those needs and priorities and locate appropriate services.
Child Development and Rehabilitation Center (OHSU)
 
CDRC serves an education and research center for health professionals and as a statewide agency CDRC-OHSU serves children with special health needs. This web site is a great resource for parents including information on clinical programs such as Child Development Clinic, Metabolic Clinic and Genetic and Birth Defects Clinic.
Community Connections Network
CCN is a network of 14 clinics across Oregon that seeks to improve services for child with special needs in the more rural areas of the state.
Oregon Center for Children and Youth With Special Health Needs
OSCSHN plans, implements and evaluates public health programs for children with special needs and supports partnerships with families, health care providers, agencies and the community.

Portland State University Early Intervention Licensure
The Early Intervention program is designed to prepare professionals to provide services to infants, toddlers, and young children with special needs, and to their families.
