Full-Day Kindergarten

Teacher helping student The goal of full-day kindergarten is to increase quality learning time for young students. The research is clear that extended time must be quality time in order to impact student achievement. A program model with articulated, desired outcomes assures program focus and direction. Alignment between instruction and assessment must be apparent.
