ODE RSS LINKS
The Oregon Department of Education provides News and Events RSS web feeds for ALL of our topics. When you locate a topic with our search, simply combine the topic's number (found at the end of its web address) with one of the RSS web addresses. See the following examples:
The State Board's web address is http://www.ode.state.or.us/search/results/?id=144, and the number at the end of the address (
144
) is the Topic #

NEWS RSS vs. EVENT RSS
When you subscribe to an ODE News feed, recent news will constantly be
appended
to your subscription (based on the settings in your feed application). Note: Because news is ALWAYS appended, out of date or news retractions will not be deleted from your subscription. As necessary, check the
ODE news
site if you notice inconsistency with content found in the feed.
On the other hand, when you subscribe to an ODE Event feed, your event feed is
replaced
with the ODE calendar on each update (so you will normally only view coming events). As necessary, check the
ODE event
site if you notice inconsistency with content found in the feed.
COMPATIBILITY
RSS is integrated with IE7 and FireFox v.2. If you are using versions of IE (previous to v.7) or FireFox (previous to v.2), you will need to use an RSS Reader/Aggregator.
