Level 1
is a 30 – 45 minute broad, general workshop for designed to be presented by a local facilitator to a wide variety of audiences including teachers, administrators, school board, parents and community groups.
Focus of Workshops
Understand the requirement for proficiency in the Essential Skill of Apply Mathematics to earn a diploma
Understand the 3 options to demonstrate proficiency (OAKS, approved standardized tests, and work samples)
Understand what a work sample looks like and experience applying the scoring guide to 3 student work samples
