An Overview of Interpreting for Students with Cochlear Implants
Description:
The recent innovations in cochlear implant technology have changed the role of the interpreter in the classroom. During this video conference we will share information that will assist us in beginning a nationwide discussion regarding "best practices" when working with students that have cochlear implants. We will explore the perspectives of interpreters, teachers, students and other professionals.
