Important Announcement Regarding Oregon's 10th Grade Assessment

Oregon Revised Statute (ORS) 329.488 requires the state to provide a nationally normed assessment for all 10th grade students enrolled in a public school. For the last 10 years, that assessment has been the PSAT (College Board). The Oregon Department of Education is currently reviewing proposals in order to determine the next 10th grade assessment through a competitive public process. We will communicate with you throughout this process, as well as release a formal announcement of the next 10th grade assessment upon its adoption. Keep in mind the Test Administration Manual will not reflect these changes until the final decision has been made. Please direct any questions to Derek Brown at the contact information below.
