|Teachers Needed: ELPA Content Panel for 2014-15|
ODE is recruiting new members for the English Language Proficiency Assessment Content Panel. This advisory panel will calibrate items that were field tested this year, review potential test items for future years, and do work as needed with the new ELP standards and the upcoming ELPA21 assessment. ODE is looking for experienced ELD teachers and specialists who are familiar with Oregon's English Language Proficiency Standards and the ELPA testing environment. ELD teachers from all regions of Oregon are encouraged to apply.
The first meeting of the 2014-15 ELPA content panel will be approximately June 16 through June 25, in Salem. There is a possibility of additional work days which will be scheduled as the events are finalized. Generally, content panel members can expect to meet up to 6 days during each school year. Appointments to the ELPA panel have a duration of 3 school years.
