Reporting Smarter Balanced Field Test Improprieties

As a reminder, districts participating in the Smarter Balanced Field Test must follow the procedures and policies described in the Oregon Customized Smarter Balanced Field Test Administration Manual PDF. Section 4.6 Reporting Testing Improprieties and Irregularities of the Oregon customized manual describes the process that Oregon districts participating in the field test must follow to report any potential test improprieties. Consistent with the process in place for Oregon’s operational 2013-14 assessments, DTCs must submit an initial report for all potential test improprieties to ODE within one day of learning of the potential test impropriety using the Smarter Balanced Field Test Impropriety Report Form MS-Word located at http://www.ode.state.or.us/go/testsecurity. DTCs must e-mail the completed form to ode.testsecurity@state.or.us eMail (503-947-5928), along with any additional documentation.
