Field Test School Accountability Appeals Process for 2013-14

Participation in the Smarter Balanced field test and the implementation of the Field Test School Accountability Rules may have an unforeseen impact on the overall school rating for field test schools. Given the potential impact, the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) will provide an opportunity for field test schools to appeal the implementation of the two Field Test School Accountability Rules. The following document provides information concerning the field test school accountability appeal process as well as the form field test schools must submit in order to appeal: http://www.ode.state.or.us/wma/policy/accountability/sbac/sbft_school_accountability_appeals_1314.pdf PDF. The ODE must receive the Field Test School Accountability Appeal Form no later than Friday, August 8, 2014 at 5:00 PM.
