As you know, AIR updated Smarter Balanced TIDE to include students for schools participating in the Smarter Balanced Field Test. The student upload included students with current SSIDs and their resident school and district assignment as of February 7. For the field test, districts are responsible for ensuring new students are added to TIDE. District Security Administrators and ESD Partners have rights to add students to TIDE. If you want your ESD Partner to add students to TIDE, please follow these steps:
- Ensure that the SSID system is updated for current students.
- Send a request to “Update Student Enrollment in Smarter Balanced TIDE” to your ESD partner, include the following fields in a spreadsheet: District | School | Grade of Enrollment | SSID
- If you have 10 or fewer students that need added to or updated in TIDE, include the SSID numbers of the students.
- If you have more than 10 students that need added to or updated in TIDE, you do not have to include the SSID numbers. We will upload the entire grade specified in the request.
