|STEM Lab School Grant|
The STEM Lab School Grant is part of House Bill 3232, Strategic Initiatives for Student Success, and is designed to increase student proficiency in the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), in addition to connecting students to the world of work. The grant will fund public schools, school districts, postsecondary institutions, or student-focused nonprofits that will support the implementation of three to five public schools which will serve as laboratories for innovation, implementation, and research of highly engaging and effective learning environments in STEM education. STEM Lab Schools will be inclusive, comprehensive schools guided by the principles of the Equity Lens and the State’s 40/40/20 goal.
