|Culturally Responsive Pedagogy and Practices Grant|
|We are pleased to announce the next grant connected to Oregon’s Strategic Initiatives. As part of the new Network of Quality Teaching and Learning, there are several grants aimed at closing the academic achievement gap and promoting equity in our schools as we work toward our 40-40-20 goal. The Culturally Responsive Pedagogy and Practices Grant is designed to support school districts and university teacher preparatory programs by creating opportunities to increase academic outcomes for culturally and linguistically diverse students as well as to support strong links between home, school, and community. Further, the training, mentoring, and study of best practices will ensure educators are able to provide culturally relevant, effective instruction and to motivate, engage and support all students of color.
