|STEM, STEAM and/or CTE Program & Activity Grant|
|We are pleased to announce the next grant connected to Oregon’s Strategic Initiatives. As part of House Bill 3232, Strategic Initiatives for Student Success, there are several grants aimed at addressing the needs of underserved students in our schools and communities as we work toward our 40-40-20 goal. Key to this work are investments to increase student proficiency in the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, in addition to connecting to the world of work.
The STEM, STEAM and/or CTE Program & Activity Grant s designed to fund public schools, school districts, postsecondary institutions, or student-focused nonprofits that provide learning opportunities in both formal and informal educational settings. These STEM, STEAM and/or CTE programs and activities will foster 21st century career skills, in addition to providing on-going access and opportunities to student populations that have historically been underserved and underrepresented throughout the state.
