The Oregon Youth Development Council will be meeting on Thursday, December 12, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. in Hearing Room F of the State Capitol, 900 Court St NE. The public will be invited to testify at this meeting, beginning at 11:30 a.m. (start time is approximate). Remarks will be limited to two minutes in duration.
Agenda items include a Community Engagement Update; a Gang Report presentation by the Prevention and Intervention Committee; updates from the State Youth-Serving Agencies Committee and the Educational Supports and Developmental Assets Committee; and action on the resubmission of a funding recommendation from the Juvenile Justice Committee.
Invited testimony will be presented by the Oregon State University 4H Program; Oregon Mentors; the Oregon Juvenile Department Directors’ Association, and the Sexual Minority Youth Resource Center.
