|Accelerated College Credit Program Sub Grant Webinar|
|We are pleased to announce the first of two webinars for the next sub grant connected to Oregon’s support for the implementation and enhancement of accelerated college credit programs. As part of ORS 340.320, this grant is aimed at addressing the needs of Oregon public school districts, community college districts and University System institutions. The Accelerated College Credit Program Sub Grant is designed to fund school districts, community colleges and University System institutions to provide coursework and training for teachers, classroom supplies and materials for students, and funds for universities to offer teachers continuing education credits. Additionally, the goal of this grant is to cultivate collaboration between teachers and institutions working to increase student enrollment in the accelerated college credit programs. To prepare for the increased student enrollment into accelerated courses, this grant provides funding for institutions to anticipate and plan for the necessary coursework to credential additional teachers. This grant support also recognizes the positive impact accelerated coursework has for increasing student success outcomes in their post-secondary choices.
