School and District Report Cards Available for Preview on September 12, 2013

The 2012-13 school and district report cards will be available for district preview on Thursday, September 12. The report cards have been redesigned based on recommendations from an external Report Card Steering Committee. Key features of the redesign include a Letter from the Principal/Superintendent and a Curriculum and Learning Environment section. The September 12 preview will serve as the first opportunity for districts to review their August 30 submission of these sections.

ODE will host a video training on the Report Cards on Thursday, September 12 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. This training will provide an overview of the report cards and detailed explanations of the data contained in the report cards. To join this training, please visit the ODE Video Training web page at: https://district.ode.state.or.us/search/page/?id=226.

The final preview of the school and district report cards will be October 3, 2013. The public release of the Report Cards will be Thursday, October 10, 2013.
