CTE Program Update 2013-14
The CTE Program Update is the required annual method for high schools and CTE Regional Coordinators to reconcile local and state records concerning details of every state approved CTE Program. This is the time to propose revisions/updates to the CTE programs offered in the 2013-14 academic year. Every approved CTE program must be reviewed and submitted by schools to their CTE Regional Coordinator and then to ODE even if no changes are necessary.

To maintain state-approval and/or remain eligible for Perkins grant funding, CTE programs must contain specific design elements and content and include a seamless integration of secondary and postsecondary components. Therefore, to assure continued compliance, high school or district personnel are expected to consult with their postsecondary partner(s) and their CTE Regional Coordinator or Perkins Grant Manager regarding anticipated changes to any approved CTE program when submitting changes.

The CTE Program Update for 2013-14 must be completed by October 31, 2013. All program reviews and changes must be completed and submitted to the CTE Regional Coordinators no later than this date.

The Secondary CTE Program Update process for 2013-14 opens on September 19, 2013 and closes on October 31, 2013. The only updates that may be submitted during spring are for unanticipated changes that apply to spring term and may require a Request to Re-Open CTE Program Update Application form.
