Title IIA Technical Assistance for 2013-14 – Make Your Appointment Today!
Districts that would like early feedback on their Title IIA applications for 2013-14 can schedule an appointment with ODE staff this summer. Staff will be available for ½ hour appointments at each of the following scheduled summer events:

COSA Conference – June 21 (Seaside)
Malheur Institute – July 23 (Vale)
Summer Assessment Institute – Aug 2 (Eugene)
Odyssey – Aug 6 (Bend - AM only)
Odyssey – Aug 13 (Portland - AM only)

No applications will be approved at these meetings. Rather, these appointments are opportunities for districts to ask questions and get feedback on any of the parts of their plan for their 2013-14 IIA application. Materials districts could bring might include:

a. A list of anticipated activities for 2013-14
b. A draft of the application overview
c. Questions related to IIA and allowable use of funds
d. A copy of the 2012-13 application if similar activities are planned for the upcoming year.

In order to determine the number of ODE staff to make available, districts are asked to schedule their appointment by June 15th. Regretfully, no reviews will be provided without an appointment. Districts interested in scheduling an appointment should email Karen Garrison at karen.garrison@state.or.us eMail.
