GED 2014 Assessment Guide and Test Item Samplers

The GED Testing Service has launched the Assessment Guide for Educators. The Guide identifies and explains the updates made in the GED revision and is intended to help educators become familiar with the new 2014 GED Test.

The GED Testing Service has also launched the revised 2014 GED Test Item Sampler. The new Item Samplers were created to better reflect the wider range of items differently representative of the 2014 GED test and to include a greater proportion of the multiple-choice item type, while continuing to showcase the full range of item types the will appear on the test. The new samplers can be found on the same page at before, and feature interactive test questions for Mathematical Reasoning, Science, Social Studies and Reasoning through Language Arts. Each of the Item Samplers is available in three different formats, but all contain the same information:

A web-based or online version that requires Internet access
A downloadable version that, once downloaded from the Internet, can run on a computer without an active Internet connection
A PDF that contains screenshots of each Item Sampler and is designed for use in situations where a paper version of the sampler content is desired
