The Oregon Department of Education in collaboration with The New Teacher Center is offering two training opportunities:
- Coaching in Complex Situation, December 3 - Hillsboro
- Mentoring for English Language Learner Success, January 28-29 - Wilsonville

These workshops support those who work with beginning teachers in the role of mentor, coach, university supervisor, master teacher, teacher leader, principal, and administrators of programs that provide support for beginning teachers.
All districts are encouraged to send personnel who mentor/coach beginning educators. Oregon Mentoring Project participants that have attended all the Year One sessions are required to attend if they haven't previously participated in these workshops. |
