|Smarter Balanced Technology Readiness Tool Update - September 20, 2012|
The Technology Readiness Tool is designed to support states as they transition to next-generation assessments. Since March 2012, State Readiness Coordinators have been working with districts and schools to collect baseline data on key readiness indicators.
ODE would like to thank districts and schools that were successful in uploading school specific device and school survey information. As a reminder for those who have not entered data, the Technology Readiness Tool remains open, and ODE encourages districts and schools to continue to add and/or update their information. These details will help Smarter to finalize minimum requirements for technology infrastructures and form the baseline for subsequent gap analyses for determination of readiness for the Smarter Balanced assessments.
Below you will find a schedule of anticipated extraction dates. These dates represent the times when a snapshot will be created. The information from the snapshots will be used to create reports. The next anticipated extraction date is currently anticipated to be Sunday, September 30, 2012, so please continue to keep your data current in the Technology Readiness Tool.
