CCSS Implementation Tools Added to Toolkit for Administrators

The Common Core State Standards (CCSS) Toolkit was developed to support teachers, educational leaders, and others as Oregon transitions to the CCSS. Tools to support administrators with implementation are now available in the following categories:

Ensure Effective Teams
Establish K-12 Frameworks
Implement Quality Materials
Examine Classroom Instruction
Target Professional Development

With resources related to implementing and supporting Data Teams, planning for adoption of “Bridge Year” materials, and conducting Classroom Walkthroughs, the toolkit can provide a good place to start. Materials will continue to be added as they become available.
