Revised Dates for 2011-2012 Assessment Accountability Reporting

The last day to make edits to 2011-12 assessment data in Student Centered Staging will be August 31 at 5 PM. Also, Third Period Cumulative ADM collection will be extended to close the same day, August 31 at 11:59 PM. Previously, both Student Centered Staging and Third Period Cumulative ADM were scheduled to close on August 20.

Districts who have not already done so, should review all assessment data by August 31 for reading, math, science and writing to determine if additional edits are necessary, primarily for: a) the 1% Cap applied to Extended Assessments only if you have been notified by the ODE Assessment Office or the Regional Support Partners; b) the test administration codes, especially those that might apply to non-participants, and c) identification of test accommodations. This will be the last opportunity to edit the 2011-12 assessment data.

Also, districts should review their Third Period Cumulative ADM collection that is used for the identification of the students enrolled on May 1, 2012 for attendance, for the identification of all subgroups (except the Limited English Proficient (LEP) subgroup), and for identification of the test records that will be used for the 2011-12 assessment reports.

The 2011-12 assessment data will be used for multiple accountability reports such as the School and District Report Cards, the Priority, Focus and Model Schools List, the Annual Measurable Objectives (AMO) as components of Oregon's new ESEA Flexibility Waiver, and the Assessment Group Reports.
