Extended Assessment: Field Test Item Review Opportunity

The Oregon Department of Education is seeking general and special education teachers who are willing to assist in ensuring Extended Assessment Reading, Writing, Mathematics, and Science items are (a) consistent with current research and practice in the assessment and instruction of students with the most significant cognitive disabilities; (b) appropriately reflect Oregon’s content standards for these subject areas; and (c) are free of bias for all students, by participating in an online item review between October 10 to October 30, 2012.

If you indicate availability and are selected to participate in this review, you will receive a brief training on the online review process that will also be conducted online October 10, 2012, 3:30-4:30p. On average it will take an individual reviewer about two hours to complete the training and the review. For your participation in this brief online review you will receive Professional Development credit for the time spent in review.
