|Work Session Meeting Notice - Talented and Gifted Education Task Force, August 14, 2012|
|Tuesday, August 14, 12:30-4:30 p.m.
The tenth meeting of the Talented and Gifted Education Task Force will be held in Salem, Oregon, at the Public Service Building, 255 Capitol Street NE, in Basement Room A. This will be a work session.
The Talented and Gifted Education Task Force will hear public comments beginning at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, August 14, 2012. Written comments may be submitted for consideration to the contact information listed below no later than 24 hours prior to the meeting. Each contributor appearing in person is limited to 3 minutes.
Public comments to the TAG Education Task Force should be related to the three charges of the Task Force specific to Senate Bill 330:
(a) The resources that are needed to provide instruction to talented and gifted children;
(b) The appropriate level of funding for instruction of talented and gifted children, including potential methods for providing funding; and
(c) The number of children who would benefit from instruction of (as) talented and gifted children.
